For Employers

We make it easy for employers to bring their employees to Canada. From meeting recruitment requirements to handling LMIA, work permits, and permanent residency applications through Express Entry or PNP programs, we offer tailored guidance every step of the way. Our streamlined approach, with clear documentation checklists and questionnaires, simplifies the process, empowering employers to make informed decisions with confidence.

Recruitment & Ads

Cantrust Visa helps employers meet the recruitment and advertising requirements by ensuring their job advertisements comply with the 11-point criteria outlined by ESDC/Service Canada. While we don’t create the ads, we review and verify that they meet all necessary standards before they are posted on Canada’s Job Bank and by the employer on two additional advertising platforms. We also manage and maintain the Job Bank postings throughout the LMIA process, providing ongoing support for LMIA and LMIA-plus work permit applications to streamline compliance and hiring.

LMIA

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that Canadian employers may need to hire a foreign worker, showing there are no suitable Canadians available for the position.

Cantrust Visa streamlines the LMIA process by providing tailored questionnaires and documentation checklists, completing the lengthy LMIA application, and offering ongoing support and guidance from the initial job postings through to LMIA approval.

We also handle Canada’s Job Bank posting and maintenance throughout the process—all included for free as part of our LMIA and LMIA-plus Work Permit services package.

Work Permits

Canadian employers have multiple work permit options to meet their hiring needs. LMIA-supported work permits require a Labour Market Impact Assessment to demonstrate the need for a foreign worker, while LMIA-exempt work permits apply to specific roles or agreements.

Open work permits, such as spousal open work permits or the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), provide added flexibility, especially for families of temporary foreign workers (TFWs) and recent graduates.

Choosing the right work permit depends on the needs of both the employer and the employee, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process.

LMIA-plus Work Permit

At Cantrust Visa, we specialize in guiding employers through the LMIA-Plus work permit process, providing end-to-end support to ensure a seamless experience.
