Visitor Visa Options
Visitor Visa (TRV)
A visitor visa, also known as a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), is a physical document called a counterfoil that is placed in your passport.
It’s required for citizens of non-visa-exempt countries and allows entry to Canada for tourism, business, or visiting family and friends, typically for up to six months.
It is often issued as a multiple-entry visa (MEV) and is usually valid for up to 10 years, the MEV lets you leave and re-enter Canada multiple times, as long as each stay is six months or less.
Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is a digital entry requirement for travelers from visa-exempt countries flying to Canada.
It’s linked to your passport and allows you to visit Canada for purposes like tourism, business, or visiting family and friends.
An eTA is usually valid for up to 5 years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. During this time, you can visit Canada multiple times without reapplying, with each stay allowed for up to six months.
Super Visa
A Super Visa is a special Canadian visa specifically designed for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents. It allows them to visit and stay in Canada for extended periods, offering a long-term stay of up to 5 years per visit.
With multiple entries permitted over a span of 10 years, the Super Visa eliminates the need for frequent renewals, providing a convenient way for families to spend more quality time together.
Working Holiday Visa
A Working Holiday Visa under International Experience Canada (IEC) allows young adults, typically between the ages of 18 to 35, to live, work, and travel in Canada for up to two years.
This visa is ideal for those seeking a blend of work experience and adventure, as it offers the freedom to work for any employer in Canada.
Whether you’re taking a gap year, building your career, or simply wanting to immerse yourself in Canada’s diverse culture and breathtaking landscapes, the Working Holiday Visa gives you the flexibility to earn an income while exploring all that Canada has to offer.
